MoS Creates came about as a brand to use for things I create. Most everything was just for my personal use, but then I started to get some requests for items when I would post them on Facebook.
The biggest request and ultimate push, was when I started making soap. Now when it comes to soap, some things can be bought in smaller amounts some things not so much.
For me to be able to try different combinations, I sold off the excess soap, other wise even a small batch would last me a long time, and not allow me to try ingredient, style, and scent combinations.
For some of the other art type items, this would not apply for having too much, but it does allow for me to experiment and practice different styles to create the art.
I will even add this site to the creations. I am a tech guy by default, art and creative things are well out of my comfort zone. However I can learn, deep dive, and break apart how something was done and recreate it.
With the site that is what this is. It has been a very long time since I have written website code, and even then it was drastically different than this. On top of that is the software behind the scenes that powers the site allowing it to run.
Below I will give a bit more info on the main things I MoS Creates does.
This is a hobby for me. I do not keep any stock of creations, this site is mainly just a place for me to show off things I have made and are proud of. I can however on request and depending on supplies can create something on commission.
All natural handcrafted soaps. These are vegan, as in they are made with environmentally friendly plant oils, butters, and other natural components. Scents however could change the "natural" aspect of the soap. I do still have some stock of bars of soap, however on commission I will only made full loaves of soap, typically cut into 1" (about 4oz) bars of soap, but can request them to be cut anyway.
All natural body butters. These are vegan as well made with plant based butters, oils, and other natural components. Scents however can change the "natural" aspects of the Body Butters.
Acrylic pour paintings. These can be of different sizes and styles. Each will be unique and can not guarantee the finial look. They can be plain or using a stencil to create a design in the painting.
Handcrafted wooden art. I have been known to create various small wooden based art pieces. These can be finished in a number of ways and would be unique for each piece as well.
